Southwest Trading Company opened for business in September of 2000, offering Mexican and southwest style furniture. After changing hands a few times, we bought the store in October of 2007. We have two children, Amber and Chris, who help out during breaks from the university. We are driven by a passion for downtown Spruce Pine, a flair for decorating, and a desire to support American made products. We want to help you find the best piece for your specific needs; in so doing we promise to always put you, the customer, first.

We carry local, southwestern style, and Amish furniture to provide a variety suitable for any cabin, lodge or country cottage. We will also help you decorate your home with paintings, window treatments, bed coverings, kitchen/bath accessories, and lighting.
